ABOUT US

We Teresa Bishara and Elaine Stanford Mendoza are not professional genealogist. We are however diligent in having "proof" of all the persons we have added to this tree.

Weeding through Many documents we have  rejected a large numbed of “family”documents in favor of documents such as U.S. Census. Noting some inconsistencies  here also . We feel we have compiled the best possible tree for this  Family  Tree.

We have no vested interest in the outcome of this research. We are not related by blood lines to the Blythe family. Although we feel a kinship by getting to know them as people, not just names on a page. We have been able to follow some of their lives. Witness their joys, their struggles, their marriage, births and deaths.

Our Quest started as a simple one, with just four names on a page. This then lead us on a historical journey to the early days of our country. We have traveled back to the shores where the first Blythes come from England and then forward toward modern day.

Along the way we have met some amazing people. Our hope is that you will enjoy this compilation as much as much we have enjoyed compiling it.

You will find some family folklore along the way. These are added for color as we were not able to confirm there accuracy. Many other stories were rejected. The biggest stumbling block has been that this family group has a great fondness for naming their children after other family members. While this is a beautiful tradition. When researching it does cause some confusion.

As we looked at other researchers work we found that many times these researchers would attach events or other family members incorrectly.

To aide the reader of this tree we are assigning numbers to the names that repeatedly run through this tree. For example: The first William(1) and Sarah (1) Blythe who came from England receive a (1). Each new member that arrives on the scene with the same first name will be given the next number. (Hopefully this will help you follow the generation)
